The powerful rain shower in the bathroom was a treat, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, although we would have liked to see more utensils and saucepans. Additionally, a hairdryer would have been a nice addition, especially during the winter months. Despite these minor suggestions, we couldn't find any other faults with our stay. Swallow Cottage provided a warm and welcoming home-away-from-home for our escape. The cottage was clean, well-presented, and equipped with everything we needed, including a private garden for our dog. The location was peaceful and serene, yet still close enough to enjoy the nearby attractions. The friendly hosts, Kate and Ryan, made us feel truly cared for. The underfloor heating and walk-in shower were delightful touches. We adored the velux window above the comfy bed that allowed us to stargaze and found the horses on the grounds beautiful. a fantastic experience.
The cottage is located on grounds with stables, so it may not be suitable for those with allergies. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking, and the pillows were quite flat.

The location of the cottage was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside and with no traffic noise. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The cottage had a lovely walled garden which was great for our dogs, and we enjoyed watching the swallows flying over the stables. Additionally, the underfloor heating in the cottage was a wonderful touch, making it warm and cozy even on chilly evenings.
The living room table was too large and bulky for just two people, making it uncomfortable to sit and feel cozy. The Velux blind in the bedroom was difficult to open and close, although the natural light it provided was worth it.
